SENDESTELLE?
Broadcasting unit for small emissions from the Resteinheit.
The Sendestelle forms the emission unit of Chronosemicon: a side channel of the Resteinheit, where residual material such as documents, notes, times, fragments, is converted into a first form of distribution. Not full-fledged publications, but limited emissions: too small to make large, too charged to ignore.
What is transmitted here:
— observations on surplus
— semantic debris
— notes with excluded urgency
— combinations of text-image and contemplation briefly touched upon in the Werkstatt
Each edition is unique, numbered, and varies in a very small print run. The Sendestelle is not a catalog, but a form of breathing: a way in which the Resteinheit manifests itself without fully exposing itself. Distribution occurs through selective dispatch, not on request, but based on open registration and chance. You receive nothing until it arrives. Each emission is an attempt, a disturbance, an impulse, ...
The Sendestelle is the first layer in the activation of Denkstücken: a minimal intervention, just enough to keep something awake.
